CO-FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN

Will is currently working toward his 16th year of service in the National Guard. His combat experience includes serving as an infantry platoon leader while in Afghanistan.

Will and his family discovered the joy of Overlanding when they relocated to Portland, Oregon. The activity was fulfilling to him as it triggered feelings similar of the adventure he experienced in his early Army days.

His wife, Tabitha, sons Waylan, Ace, Cruise and pup Wiley, are into exploring the great outdoors as much as Will.

PHOTOGRAPHY & DESIGN

Born and raised in the outdoor playground of the Pacific Northwest, Adam has been exploring the backcountry most of his life (currently in an outfitted 2016 Toyota Tacoma, or frequently with just a backpack).

With an enthusiasm to assist others (he’s been on a Search & Rescue team since 2016!), Adam joined Veteran Overland to support Veterans (and others) whom may need an encouraging boost in expanding their outdoor and off-roading knowledge and skills.

Plus, V/O is a solid team!

His passion for the outdoors has lead him to Overlanding and supporting Veterans and their families as a member of Veteran Overland.

LOGISTICS SUPPORT

Carly is an active supporter in the veteran community- not just by default, but because it’s inspiring. Meeting her husband in 2012, Carly’s admiration and respect for the veteran community grew, and with that a passion to give back. Carly provides support to the team with ongoing project planning, event execution, and plain old grunt work. You can easily spot her at events and camps as she will almost always have a labradoodle a few steps away.

Growing up in the PNW and Utah, Carly has spent much of her life exploring backroads in trusty trucks and seeking adventure in the outdoors. Her wanderlust is one of her greatest accomplishments, always making time for cross country road trips and international travels with her family and pup as much as possible.

Katrina Jensen

CULINARY SPECIALIST

Katrina grew up camping all over the Pacific Northwest, spurred largely by her father that was an avid 4wd and off-road truck enthusiast and builder. Her first trip on the sand dunes of the Oregon coast was in a car seat. This led to her first vehicle purchase, at 17, being a 1976 International Scout. It was the gate way to finding more remote campsites and spots off the beaten path.

A long career in Project Management combined with a passion for cooking has combined to create the perfect skill set for her role with VO. Whether planning meals for a two week trip through Baja, working out a plan to feed a crowd at a remote location VO event, or teaching a camp cooking class, she has a plan.
